Twenty-Six Weeks and Growing...I Mean Counting!

At our most recent prenatal appointment this week, I measured in at 35 cm (from the top of my pubic bone to the top of my uterus) - that's the size of the typical singleton pregnancy at 35 weeks! If I've done the math right, I'm adding about 2 cm a week.  I don't even want to imagine how large I will be by the end of the next few months - although, my Grandpa summed it up nicely several weeks ago, "You'll be as big as a barn."  Lots of movement from the wee ones these past weeks who are approaching 2 pounds and almost 14 inches long. They seem to be most active in the morning when I wake up and in the evening when I'm resting on the couch. Every time I drink something cold I can feel Bergen move, as if she can feel the change in temperature on her little butt cheeks.  At night my ribs are sore.  I'm guessing from the two pairs of feet that are pressing up against them. Jason has been wonderfully generous with his back massages every night.  Pretty soon I won't be able to reach the sink and he'll be wonderfully generous in doing the dishes every night too!  We spent several days this week working on assembling furniture for the nursery.  It's slowly coming together, piece by piece.
